Medical Plan

Medical Plan

A Dual Plan offering is available through United Health Care for all full time Associates.  The company pays 70% of the Associate's insurance premium for coverage of the Associate, spouse and dependents.

Dental Plan

Dental Plan

A dental plan is offered through Delta Dental.  The company pays 70% of the premium for the Associate, spouse and dependents.

Vision Plan

Vision Plan

The company offers a vision plan through VSP (Vision Services Plan).  McCallie Associates may choose a VSP network doctor to get your vision checked as well as discounts on certain products.  The company pays 70% of the premium for Associates, spouses and dependents. 

Disability Coverage

Disability Coverage

Lincoln Financial Group is the provider for both Short-Term Disability (STD) and Long-term Disability (LTD) coverage, which is free of cost to the Associate.  STD pays 66 2/3% of the Associate's weekly salary and begins on the first day of missed work due to an accident or on the 8th day of an illness and continues up to 180 days.  On the 181st day, LTD activates and begins paying 66 2/3% of the Associate's weekly salary and may continue until the Associate reaches retirement age or returns to work.

Life Insurance

Premiums are paid by the company, providing Associates with a life insurance policy that is equal to 2x annual salary through Lincoln Financial Group.  Associates are also given the opportunity to purchase additional life insurance for themselves, their spouse and dependents at a reasonable cost. 

Flexible Spending Account

Flexible Spending Account

An IRS Section 125 Flexible Spending Plan is offered annually (Jan-Dec).  This is a tax savings plan that may be used for dependent care, un-reimbursed medical and dental expenses such as deductibles and co-payments. 

Paid Time Off (PTO)

McCallie Associates begin accruing Paid Time Off (PTO) immediately upon employment. Additionally, the company allows up to three days, paid, during a bereavement of a family member. 

Professional Development Assistance

Professional Development Assistance

Training, professional development and continued education are strongly supported at McCallie Associates, Inc.  A complete professional library and computer based training courses are available to aid Associates as they continue their professional development.  We provide tuition reimbursement for approved career-related curriculum and fund career-related certification training and certification testing. 

401(k) Profit Sharing & Retirement Plan

Principal Financial Group allows Associates to tax-defer up to the maximum dollar amount allowed by law.  The Company matches 50% up to 6% of an Associate's salary for a maximum of 3%. 

Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)

Presently, our EAP is provided by Care24 (a United Health Care product).  McCallie Associates, Inc. offers this program at no cost to the Associates.  Care24 nurses and counselors are available 24 hours every day who assist with situations and concerns including: Minor illnesses or injuries; relationships; chronic conditions; financial concerns; wellness and nutrition; emotional distress; marriage and family concerns; medication information; work problems; child and elder care referrals; grief and loss; men's, women's and children's health; stress management; personal legal issues. 

Annual Performance & Salary Review

Annual Performance & Salary Review

The company has an annual performance and salary review during the month of September with any increase in salary realized in the first pay period in October.  The performance review is a way of identifying the future goals of the Associate and what the company can provide to help Associates to obtain their goals.  It is a time to reflect on the past, present and the future in respect to the Associate's career with McCallie Associates.
